It has been awesome in the past few weeks for Weluwelu singer, Sammie Okposo, as he has stepped up his profile by signing an international contract with an American record label, TMG Records.
P.M. Entertainment can reveal that for the first time, the Oklahoma-based TMG Records, a wholly white-owned and managed label in America, has signed on to it, probably the first pure African artiste.
There will be an official press conference on 15 August 2011 in America, where the label executive will reveal all the details of the record deal to the media and why they signed him to Trower Music Group (TMG).
The photo shoot for his album comes up the following day in Oklahoma.
Similarly, the United Nations ambassador who marked his wedding anniversary recently has moved into a new palatial edifice in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.
Okposo was said to have confirmed that it is an anniversary gift to his wife.
However, his new musical video christened I Go Dance, directed by T-Frizzle released recently.
