Boy, 15, Dies In Inferno

A 15-year-old boy identified as Ekimi Moses has been burnt to death at 7/9, Olaiya Street, Afromedia area of Okokomaiko, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria.

According to the police, the fire which started at about 10 p.m. took some hours to put out before the remains of the victim were recovered from the rumbles.

P.M.NEWS gathered that the police are trying to unravel the source of the fire.

In a related developmet, a 13-year-old boy identified as Yomi Okeowo, was recovered dead in a collapsed building along Adebiyi Street, Ogba.

When P.M.NEWS visited the scene, rescue efforts were still going on.

Speaking with P.M.NEWS, the Lagos State PPRO advised parents to keep an eye on their children, especially during this rainy season to prevent them from being drowned in flood.
