Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, has expressed its displeasure over Flying Eagles’ poor form ahead of the FIFA U-20 World Cup which kicks off in Colombia this Friday.
The Media Officer of the federation, Ademola Olajire, confessed that John Obuh and his team have been given the NFF sleepless nights with their recent performance at the Four-Nation Tournament in Panama.
He noted that despite given the team needed support to prepare for the World Youth Championship, WYC, the Flying Eagles have not convinced the authorities of their readiness to do the nation proud in the World Cup.
“We were disturbed by the results from the Flying Eagles because we have given them the necessary support to perform well. We want the technical crew to address all the weaknesses of the team in the World Cup,†he said.
