An Ibadan Magistrste’s Court has ordered a factional leader of the Association of Nigerian Theartre Arts Practitioners (ANTP), Mr. Victor Ashaolu, to desist from parading himself as ANTP president.
Justice Bolaji Yusuf of Court 4 on Monday, gave the order restraining Ashaolu and his factional executive officers from parading themselves as president and members of the executive council of the association respectively.
The injunction, P.M. Entertainment learnt, came on the heels of a suit filed by another faction led by Mr. Dele Odule, praying the court to stop Ashaolu and others from parading themseves as ANTP leaders pending the determination of the legal tussle over the leadership of the association.
Ashaolu was said to have organised and conducted an election in Ilorin, Kwara State last year, where he emerged as the ANTP president.
