National President, Eclectic Network Nigeria, Rev. (Dr.) Moses Iloh, has condemned opponents of the proposed Islamic banking in Nigeria, describing them as unpatriotic and unprogressive elements.

Speaking with P.M.NEWS at his office in Lagos, Iloh said: “Even as a Christian, I am strongly in support of the proposed Islamic bank in Nigeria. It is capable of alleviating poverty in the country.”

According to him, “the non-interest banking system practiced by Islamic banks will ensure that ordinary Nigerians, regardless of their religious affiliations have access to loans for their small scale business enterprises.”
