The Lagos State chapter of Niger Delta Youth Assembly, has commended the state government on the appointment of new commissioners.
Comrade Malachi Ichie, the chairman of the group, in his congratulatory message to the commissioners, described the appointment as well deserved.
He particularly commended the appointment of Prince Gbolahan Lawal as the new Commissioner for Agriculture and Cooperatives. He described him as a man of integrity, commitment, focus and hard work, adding that he would bring these qualities to bear on his job.
Malachi praised the governor for his foresight in the appointment of Lawal, maintaining that the move is another step of the governor’s determination to remain focused and committed to good governance.
The youth leader charged the new commissioners to work harmoniously with the governor to lift the living standard of the people and the youth in particular.
