Miss Black Is Beautiful Contestants Screened

Contestants for this year’s Miss Black Is Beautiful beauty pageant have been screened, but the grand finale is scheduled to hold on 4 September, 2011 and the eventual winner at the grand finale is expected to represent Nigeria globally.

According to a statement from the organisers, Miss Black Is Beautiful (MBIB) seeks to groom super models “from our young, black and beautiful Nigeria globally. It seeks to create quality and elegance within the ages of 18 and 25 years.”

P.M. Entertainment gathered that runners-up in the competition will represent Nigeria at next year’s Miss West Africa, to be held in the UK.
