'Sunshine Ready For JS Kabylie'

Chairman of Sunshine Stars of Akure, one of Nigeria’s campaigners in the ongoing CAF Confederations Cup, Segun Santana Adagunodo, has stated that they are battle ready to take on their opponents, JS Kabylie, when both teams square up this evening at the Algiers Township Stadium, Algeria.

Adagunodo in an online interview with P.M Sports from Algeria said that despite poor reception given to them on arrival in Algiers, the players are ready to approach the match with caution with the aim of returning to Nigeria with the maximum three points at stake in the crucial match.

The game holds at 9:pm Algerian time today.

He said that the players are well motivated and their allowances have also been paid ahead of the match.

According to him, “We are optimistic of getting the result, we know that JSK is a big club having dropped from the Champions League to play in the Confederation Cup. We are hopeful of getting good result here.”

He added that apart from the motivation that the players are enjoying, the Nigeria Ambassador to Algeria, Jeremiah Yakubu Hassan came to give them some peep talks and promised to mobilise Nigerians in the North African country to cheer the team to victory.
