All Federal High Court judges nationwide will today commence their two months annual vacation as the courts will resume normal legal activities on 26 September, 2011. Their Lagos State counterparts started the annual vacation two weeks ago.

When the Federal High Courts resume in September, all the judges will go for the one-week Annual Judges Conference, which will be preceeded by the new legal year.

However, during the vacation, three judges Justice, Pat Ajoku, Okon Abang, and Mohammed will be sitting for two weeks one after the other to attend to urgent and emergency cases especially those that border on fundamental human rights.
