Boko Haram Threatens To Attack Kaduna

After its failure to carry out its earlier threat to attack Kaduna five weeks ago , members of the northern based dreaded Boko Haram sect have again issued another threat with specific targets to bomb river Kaduna Bridge and Kaduna Government House.

 

The sect which has demanded that Governor Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa and his daughter in-law overseas offer unreserved apology to the group for the use of security agencies to dislodge the group in the state, claimed to remain unstoppable in its quest to ensure that its members operate freely and practice doctrines of the sect in all northern states .

The group demanded for justice, according to the statement posted on their website and e-mails to some media men in the state.

 

However,it maintained its stance to stamp out western doctrine among Muslims and equally vowed to stop all corruption among government officials as well as injustices meted out on its members across the north.

It also demanded that Yakowa’s daughter in law , one Debie married to Yakowa’s son in the United States should offer apology to the group for an alleged damaging statements posted on Facebook sometimes ago .

 

This marks the fourth threat by the group. It had failed to carry out the past three threats.

 

Meanwhile ,the Kaduna police command said it is battle ready for the group.

The Kaduna Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Aminu Lawan told P.M.News that even without any threat , Kaduna police command has always been battle ready to maintain law and order in the state and it would continue to do so.
