The strike action by the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, JUSUN, Ogun State Chapter, on Friday, 22 July, 2011 has been called off as investigation this morning revealed that all the workers have resumed at their duty posts.
When our correspondent visited both the High Court and Magistrate’s Court both at Isabo in Abeokuta , activities were going on at the premises and staffs were seen in their various offices.
Investigation by our correspondent in other areas like Ijebu-Ode, Ota, Odeda, Imeko, Owode-Egba, Odogbolu, Ijebu-Igbo and other areas across the state showed that the workers have suspended the strike action for negotiation to continue with the government and their leaders.
Speaking with P.M.NEWS this morning in Abeokuta, the Union Chairman, Prince Adesina Adesanya, JP, confirmed that the government has responded to their plight and there is likely to be a light at the end of the tunnel.

He further reiterated the union support for the new government, pledging that robust and cordial relationship will be demonstrated by its members.

The union has been at loggerheads with the new government underthe leadership of Sen. Ibikunle Amosun over what it referred to as the unusual deduction of 65% Consolidated Judiciary Staff Salary (CONJUSS) from the salary of its members.
