Principal Docked For Theft

For allegedly stealing N3,533,775 belonging to St. John’s College, Ikorodu, Lagos, Mrs. Mary Kikelomo Olawole , 40, has been arraigned before the Oshodi Magistrates’ Court, Lagos State.

She was docked on a two-count charge of stealing, offences the prosecutor, Corporal Kehinde Olatunde, stated were contrary and punishable under Sections 516 and 390(9) of the Criminal Code, Cap.17, Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2003.

Count two of the charge reads: “That you, Mary Kikelomo Olawole and others at large on 13 June, 2011 at St. John’s College, Ikorodu Road, Lagos in the Mushin magisterial district did conspire to commit felony, to wit, stealing the sum of N3,533,775, belonging to St. John’s College, IkorOdu, Lagos and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 5.
