'My People Want Me To Serve'

With the chairmanship elections less than a year from now, indigenes of Lagos State have begun to declare their intentions to support candidates of their choice. And in Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area, LCDA, the story is not different as Hon. Olusesan Odueyingbo, has been described as the people’s choice.

Oduenyingbo said he was the preferred decision by the people because of his involvement and achievements at grassroots level. Having joined the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, from inception, Oduenyingbo helped the party to mobilise people morally and financially across the five wards in the LCDA.

The graduate of Banking and Finance who also has an MBA in financial management believes that because of his humane gesture towards the people in his LCDA and beyond, he has been asked to represent them and deliver the dividends of democracy that are lacking.

Oduenyingbo told P.M.NEWS that his agenda will be to provide empowerment, education, good health service, good roads and information technology to the indigenes of Ikorodu North LCDA. “I believe in sincerity and integrity. I will deliver all the things that are lacking to my people. I’m not running for chairman because I am a politician but I intend to build upon the existing development and add the infrastructure that are lacking,” he said.

He added that having travelled outside the country, he understands what is obtainable abroad and he is optimistic that Nigeria, particularly Lagos State has the capacity to deliver the dividends of democracy to the citizenry.
