A popular TV programme in Lagos, Talonile? which has been off air for some time now, will be back in a couple of weeks.
The programme, which deals in land matters, was aired every Saturday on Murhi International Television (MITV), Lagos and has earned public acceptance over the years.
Speaking on why the programme has been off air, the producer, Oyadare Akin Taiwo, attributed it to the prevailing economic situation in the country, adding that the organisation had been going through some financial crisis as it could no longer pay for air time and crew members.
Taiwo, however, assured its teeming viewers that the programme will be back on air on tomorrow, Saturday, 6 August, 2011.
According to him, “due to the prevailing economic situation in the country, we are trying to adjust so that we can serve our viewers better because we have to pay for air time and also our crew members including office staff and no one is willing to offer help.
“You know that this is a private organisation, we really want corporate organisations and individuals to come to our aid.â€
Taiwo, however, thanked the Nigeria Police for providing his men security against attacks whenever they are on assignments.
