Former Super Eagles’ goalkeeper, Peter Rufai, has charged the Super Eagles to go for victory when they confront Ghana in a friendly match scheduled for London on Tuesday, 9 August.

Rufai told P.M.Sportsonline in Lagos that losing to Ghana will be a serious setback for the senior national team preparing for Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar next month.

He admitted that the friendly match will be a crunch battle, but noted that Nigerians will be happy if Samson Siasia and his team can beat their West African football rivals.

“The friendly match should not be taken lightly at all. It has been long we beat Ghana and I think this is the time to show our supremacy over them,” he said.
