Former Flying Eagles player, Oladimeji Lawal has said that the Nigerian team can beat Brazil if they eventually meet in the Round of 16 in the ongoing World Youth Championship taking place in Colombia.
Nigeria can only meet Brazil in the next round of the tourney if Saudi Arabia beat the African Champions in their last group match, which will be played 2 a.m. tonight.
Dimeji, who spoke to P.M.Sportsonlinen said he is happy that the Flying Eagles are a formidable team, saying that it will be difficult for Brazil to defeat them if both teams clash in the next round.
“I think Obuh is only playing mind game by saying that he wants to avoid Brazil in the next round. I watched Brazil team, they are beatable. I would have loved it if Nigeria meet the South America country in the final,†he said.
