What is the bond between Yoruba actress, Lizzy Anjorin and the comedian popularly known as Dejo Tunfulu? That was the question on the lips of those who claimed to have seen the actor cruising around town with the actress’ Murano SUV.
While some are of the opinion that their relationship could just be on a platonic level, others strongly believe there is something more intimate between them.
On Friday last week at about 10 p.m., a source claimed to have seen the couple drive in the same automobile to Dejo’s rented apartment at Pipeline bus stop, Ishasi, a suburb of Ogun State. Dejo was said to have driven the automobile while Lizzy sat beside him. The development has, however, raised further suspicion and insinuations that the two thespians are dating.
NollywoodReel gathered that for more than a week now, Dejo, who mostly plays the role of a clown in movies, has been cruising around town in a Murano automobile suspected to be Lizzy’s.
Efforts to reach Dejo as at the time of filing this report proved abortive, but in a swift reaction, Lizzy in a telephone conversation, told NollywoodReel that it is a rumour in its entirety.
She said she has never dated anybody in the industry and would never do so.
“Me, date Dejo? Over my dead body! You won’t even believe that I have not seen him face-to-face more than two times. Most times, when we work in the same location, it’s either I leave before he arrives or vice versa. But the truth of the matter is that I’m a free minded person; l play with everybody, but whoever is saying that I’m dating him is definitely not serious,†Lizzy gushed.
Meanwhile, the actress has stepped up her game as she has registered herself as one of the most successful actresses in the industry, by recently opening a multi-million naira wine shop somewhere in Abule-Egba, Lagos.
Lizzy made her debut in the movie scene with her performance in Iyawo Ojo Kan, directed by the late Durojaye Ishola popularly known as Alasari and ever since then, the sky seems to be her starting point.
