Change of baton at LASAA

The commissioner for environment in Lagos state, who was formerly the Managing Director of the Lagos State Signage & Advertisement Agency, Mr. Tunji Bello has formally handed over to his successor, Mr. George Kayode Noah.

The ceremony which lasted about 30 minutes today was witnessed by management staff of the Agency as well as regional managers from the local governments areas.

In his farewell speech, Tunji Bello recalled how he took over from his predecessor, Mr. Makanjuola Alabi on September 26th 2010. He thanked the staff for their support while he was in-charge. He asked them to keep up the good work and ensure in touch as he will keep his doors open to all of them at his new designation as Commissioner for Environment.In his response, Mr. Noah thanked Bello for his effort while at LASAA. He asked the staff to extend to him the good support enjoyed by Mr. Bello and he will not disappoint them.

It was an emotional moment for the staff as they all gave him a standing ovation. Mr. Bello then handed over officially to the new MD.
