Toyota Prepares Camry For 2012

Toyota has marked its presence in almost all the vehicle classes and made a new benchmark by refurbishing its models according to the buyers needs.

Toyota Camry made its first imprints in the year 1983 and has now emerged as a successful car. After model year 2007, Camry is now coming with the refreshed design as 2012 Toyota Camry.

The new 2012 Camry is now ready to sustain the sharp edge competition from Ford Fusion, Honda Accord and Hyundai Sonata. 2012 Camry is a subcompact sedan with four doors offers spacious interiors and will be available in various trim options ranging from the basic SE model, advancing through LE model and the premium XLE model.

The 2012 Camry is expected to be refreshed using similar dimensions. But the new Camry seems to be more interesting with the longer wheelbase and wider architecture. The longer wheelbase offers ample space to offer extra comfort to the passengers. The cabin is generously spaced. The aerodynamic architecture will come with roofline bit lowered which offers sleeker look to the sedan. Though the roofline is lowered the design meets the purpose to offer spacious headroom as the ground clearance is a bit lowered.

Beneath the metallic skin, Toyota 2012 Camry is equipped with muscular assembly of 2.5 litre and four cylinder engine with DOHC also known as double overhead camshaft. The cylinders are inlined with 16 valves which has the capacity to generate 169 horsepower. Additionally, it is estimated that the sedan will also offer the choice of more powerful V6 engine with 3.5 litre displacement that can generated the momentum of 268 horsepower. Both these engine versions would give excellent performance with six speed gearbox using manual transmission mechanism. 2012 Toyota Camry also offers the choice of selecting six speed automatic transmissions. Both the engine mechanisms are designed to follow the mechanism of front wheel drive. The four cylinder engine is powered to offer the magnificent mileage of 33 mpg in city and 34 mpg on highways.

The 2012 Camry would be enhanced with the advanced safety features by Toyota. The sedan will be added with override system. This system cuts the fuel supply from the valves if the acceleration and brakes are together applied. In addition to traditional cruise control system, traction control, Vehicle stability control and antiskid system the vehicle will gain the best cars deal of Toyota’s unique star safety system. The safety features is further enhanced with anti-lock disc brakes which facilitates emergency brakes.
