NTF Ends Camp ‘Morrow —Mbora


Secretary General of the Nigeria Tennis Federation, NTF, Nkora Nbora, has expressed satisfaction with the players’preparation for the All Africa Games, AAG, slated for Maputo, Mozambique, next month.

Nbora said the technical crew of the NTF is leaving nothing to chance as the closing of the camping exercise draws near. She said the enthusiasm in the camp gives the federation hope that the players will have a sterling performance at the Games in Maputo.

She said that all the players and the technical crew in the camp have been paid their camping allowances and the NFF would continue to motivate them to put in their best for the nation.

‘‘Everything is okay with the coaches and the players in the camp. The coaches are doing their best to ensure that the nation’s name is written in gold at the All Africa Games. On our part, we are doing everything possible to motivate the players. The allowances have been paid,’’ she said.

Nbora stated that 12 coaches led by Rotimi Akinloye are currently in the camp perfecting strategies with the players. She added that the camping exercise will end tomorrow in Abuja.

Benson Echejile is among the coaches in the camp .

The list of players in the camp include Babalola Abdulmumini, Nonso Madueke, Shehu Lawal, Bolaji Olawepo, Taiwo Owolabi, Biola Akewula, Chindima Abani, Christy Agugbom and Fatima Abinu.
