Plans have been concluded by the Lagos State Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget to organise a consultative forum on the Year 2012 budget.
The event which will hold at the Adeyemi Bero Auditorium, Secretariat, Alausa at 10.00 am on Friday, August 19, 2011 would enable the State Government obtain inputs from all segments of the society as part of its participatory approach in the preparation of the state’s annual budget.
At the event, participants are expected to contribute their views and ideas as inputs into the state planning and budgeting process towards the preparation and eventual implementation of a people-friendly budget for which the state has been noted over the years.
Those expected at the consultative forum include representatives of the Corporate World, Interest Groups and organizations whose views and inputs are considered important in the budgeting process.
