In this chat with Campus Square, the current Ogun State-born Miss Pacesetter, Oke Eunice Olawunmi, speaks about herself

 

What course are you studying?

Mass Communication.

What are your hobbies?

I love dancing and travelling. Also, I like honest people.

How can you describe yourself?

I’m a cool and easy person to meet and at the same time, I like to keep to myself.

Your favourite food?

Rice and fish.

Favourite color?

Yellow.

Favourite car?

Murano or bug.

Who or what inspires you?

When I find someone I can share my problems with and when I see happy people around me.

What is the title of the crown you won?

When was the pageant held?

It was held early this month.

How did you get to know about the pageant?

The publicity was so high in school and different people came to me and told me to go for it.

What was your parents’ reaction when you were announced the winner?

My dad was not aware of it, but my mother was and at the end of it, they were both happy for me.

How was your reaction when you were announced the winner?

I felt good and honoured because I never knew I could be crowned amidst other beautiful and brilliant contenders.

What has the pageant changed in you?

Nothing really, the only difference is that I am now a queen.

How have you been able to balance your academic work and social aspect of your life as Miss Pacesetter?

It has not been easy but I promised my parents that being Miss Pacesetter will not make me forget my primary motive in school.
