This is not the best time for Handsworth Football Club of Sango-Otta, Ogun State, as 12 players have been sacked for gross misconduct.

Team Manager of the club, Tajudeen Olasunkanmi, told GSG that the sacked players have committed various offences in the last few months which affected the progress of the club.

“The management has decided to sack the players for lack of commitment to the club again, indiscipline or lateness to training session. For now, we want to restructure the club and bring fresh legs to fortify the team,” he said.

Olasunkanmi said he has begun intensive search for fresh legs to replace the sacked players, disclosing that the club will not engage in any football competition or friendly match until everything is put in place.
