Insecurity: Iju Residents Seek Govt's Help

Residents of Iju Station in Ifako-Ijaye Local Government Area of Lagos State have called to the Lagos State government to safe them from epidemic about to break out in the area.

They also decried the activities of hoodlums who they say, allegedly dispossess members of the public of their valuables along the rail line.

According to them, the erection of so many illegal structures, especially behind Providence College, Fagba, is a source of concern and calls for urgent action against it.

They said a group of persons started another illegal construction just last Friday, probably to serve as hideout for hoodlums in the area.

The residents also complained about criminal activities going on in Abattoir and appealed to the state government to relocated it to another area.
