Friends of the late coach of Ultimate Football Club of Akute, Ogun State, Ramon Koleosho, has concluded arrangements to organise a one-day football fiesta tomorrow at the Akibo playground, Akute, Ogun State
Koleosho died three weeks ago when he was hit by a trailer along Mowe- Ibafo Express Road.
His sudden death came as a rude shock to his friends and relations who described the deceased as an easy going and friendly person
A member of Akibo Football Association, Balogun Gomez, expressed sadness over the death of the coach.
He said his death shocked many people in the community and its environs, adding that some of the friends of the coach are still in mournful mood.
Gomez said the tourney was put together to honour the late coach.
According to him, eight teams have confirmed their readiness to take part in the championship. The club are Legend FC, Swagger FC, Ultimate FC, God’s Own Academy, Fashina FC, Otu FC and All Stars FC.
“ All the players will wear black band during the tourney as a mark of respect for the departed soul. I wish his family the fortitude to bear the loss and I pray his soul rest in peace,†he said.
