The paramount king of music, Abass Akande Obesere is one of the prominent musicians that will headline this year’s Isese Festival, which will commence tomorrow in Ikorodu.
Also on the bill to entertain guests at the event organised by Oba Olaniyi Fayemi, otherwise known as Oba Saala, are Saheed Osupa and Yinka Best, among others.
P.M. Entertainment gathered that this year, other side attractions including boxing, wrestling, traditional poetry and dance/drama competitions, among others, have been added to the festival.
Fayemi attributed the dearth of moral values and discipline in the society to the imposition of foreign culture, adding that the Isese Festival was created to salvage the situation.
He therefore enjoined Africans to retrace their steps which lie in traditional African culture to stem the wave of corruption and religious extremism currently witnessed in Nigeria.
The festival is being supported by Mimee Noodles, a brand by May and Baker Group of Companies.
