School Building Set Ablaze

A building at the Holy Ghost College , Sankera in Ukum LGA, Benue State, has been set ablaze by yet to be identified persons .

The Principal of the school, Rev Fr. Kuha Indyer who disclosed this to P.M.NEWS in Makurdi said the school believed a man who has been terrorising them for sometime now may have burnt the building.

The Cleric cum Principal, said the man who is a member of the community wants the school relocated, claiming that it is encroaching on his land.

The principal said it was discovered at the site of the incident a bold inscription that reads “Our Land Our Future, this is just the beginning”.

According to him, the incident attracted the PTA of the school and the community who have since reported it to the police division in the area.

Contacted the State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr Alaribe Ejike said he was yet to be briefed on the issue.
