Super Eagles’ assistant coach, Simeon Kalika, has expressed his delight over the form of Super Eagles and West Brom striker, Osaze Odemwinge when his team tackled Chelsea FC in their second match of the English Premier League at Stamford Bridge, London on Saturday.
Kalika said Osaze’s fitness is a good development for the Eagles as they prepare to face the Barea of Madagascar in the African Nations Cup qualifier in the city of Antananarivo on 4 September.
‘‘Osaze’s fitness is a good development for the Eagles. We are happy to see him back to full fitness. For Osaze to play against Chelsea match on Saturday shows his level of fitness and it will surely help the technical crew to map out strategies on how to beat Madagascar in Antananarivo,’’ he said.
Kalika, however, assured Nigerians that the Eagles will not disappoint them this time around by getting maximum three points from the qualifier, adding that the coaches are working round the clock to ensure Eagles’ victory in the all-important clash.
