These are definitely best of times for highlife music in Nigeria as the Stingomania Records signed a contract with the Hi-Life All Stars High Club last Sunday.
Speaking at the event held at the Stadium Hotel, Surulere, Lagos, Ope Banwo, CEO, Stingomania, said the essence of the deal was to help bring back the lustre of highlife music in Nigeria as well as celebrate the iconic figures of the genre.
The colourful event was spiced with rich presence of many great highlife music stars and aficionados including Ambassador Segun Olusola, Dr. Victor Olaiya, Pa Fatai Rolling Dollar, Eppi Faino, Orlando Julius and Dejumo Lewis, among others.
