Making of A Chef Nigeria Show Debuts

A new world-class platform and opportunity to showcase the tourism potential of Nigeria has been embedded in a premier reality cooking television show tagged Making of A Chef Nigeria to be hosted by celebrity chef, Edwin Scholly, a former White House chef.

Speaking on the coming of the show, Daniel Ademiokan, Nigeria’s rising movie director, said the novel reality show is created by United States’ Rhodium LLC USA, creators of the popular Titanium Chef in the US and Rok Productions owned by Ademiokan himself.

He said the show is aimed at building on that global platform and heritage to build a revolutionary Cookery Academy and franchise in Nigeria, Africa and all around the world.

Ademiokan added that the show will be different from other reality cooking competitions, adding, “we are opening it up not just to professionally trained chefs, but anyone who has the passion for cooking and think he or she has what it takes.”

The show’s host, Chef Scholly, who doubles as executive producer, is a renowned professional known for his world-class clients including the Queen of England, former US Presidents Bill Clinton and George Bush, billionaire Donald Trump, Sir Paul McCartney, Bruce Springstein and pop queen, Madonna.

He will be mentoring all the contestants during the show and train them on American, Asian, European and African cuisines, while the winner will smile home with a cash prize of $30,000 among other prizes.

With the collaboration and support from Eko Hotel & Suites and Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC), the show will be transmitted in the United States and Nigeria.
