Organisers of the much hyped Chante Moore Charity Concert scheduled for last Saturday has explained that the late arrival of the dialysis machine for placement in hospitals and ensure access to it by its beneficiaries caused the decision to postpone of the concert. In a statement issued by both Virtual Xchange and True Health Foundation, the concert’s organisers, a new date of 23 October has been agreed with the award winning singer, Chante Moore, for the concert. “The decision to postpone the concert was made in conjunction with Chante Moore and was arrived at primarily because more time was required to conclude the placement of a dialysis machine and ensure access to it by its beneficiaries.

“This was and is considered critically important, as the ultimate aim of the concert is to raise support for the treatment for pregnant women suffering from acute renal failure,” the statement read.

While tickets for the new date are already available, those who have bought for the postponed show, the organisers have requested, should hold on to them as a wonderful experience still awaits them.

As part of her African trip, Chante Moore was expected to perform at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos, alongside Nigeria’s stars, Banky W and Wizkid.

She was in South Africa, where she featured at the ABSA Capital Leading Women in the South African event and will return to the United States and later to Nigeria in October for the charity concert, the organisers assured.
