Bada Tips Nigerian Athletes For Glory In Maputo

Former Nigerian sprinter and technical adviser of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria, Sunday Bada, has expressed confidence that the nation’s sprinters to the forthcoming All Africa Games, in Maputo, Mozambique, will write the nation’s name in gold.

Bada said Maputo Games will afford the nation an opportunity to claim its real position in Africa by topping the medal’s chart at the games.

“We will take our real place in Africa. The games will surely give us an opportunity to maintain our dominance on the continent. Our athletes are in good shape to top the medal’s table at the Games,” he said.

He said the athletes are being given the best treatment in their Germany’s camp and Nigerians should expect the best from them.

Bada said all the athletes are monitored in the camp to ascertain their level of fitness.

“We are ready to go. Our athletes are getting the best in terms of logistics from the federation. They are well motivated and the team spirit is very high. Nigerians should be expecting outstanding performance from our team,” he said.

Bada, however, urged Nigerians to pray for mother luck to shine on the athletes for them to realise their dreams at the Games.
