 Udoh Imeh is currently playing for Dynamites Football Club of Ifako Ijaiye.He spoke about his football career and other issues with SUNDAY AKINTOYE
Where did you start your football career?
I started with Samba FC in 2005. I later went to Greenwolve FC before I came to Dynamite last year.
Since you started playing football, have you won trophy for your club?
Honestly, I have not won any trophy since I started playing. That is why I came to Dynamites FC. I believe the club has what it takes to win at least a trophy before this year runs out.
Didn’t you know that your former clubs were not strong enough to win trophies?
You are right, but as I said earlier, Dynamite FC have what it takes to perform well in any championship. My mission in Dynamite FC is to win trophies and score goals for the club.
What have you achieved so far?
I played for Dynamites FC in an invitational tournament in Togo which gave me more exposure about football and the country, though we were stopped in the quarter final.
What are the challenges facing you as an upcoming player?
One major challenging I am facing now is lack of fund for my football kit. My parents don’t really support me to play football.
Where do you see yourself in the nearest future?
I see myself playing in Europe. If there is an offer from a Nigerian premier club, I can also play in Nigeria Premier league.
My ambition is to play in Europe and play for my fatherland.
