Lagos District Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Reverend Joseph Okafor has declared that the nation needs divine intervention.
Okafor called on Nigerians to come together and pray for divine favour for themselves and the nation.
According to Okafor, “God loves this nation and has blessed her with multiple blessings of all sorts, but it is unfortunate that we languish under the auspices of impoverishment.
“When we come to dwell under the shadow of the Almighty God, we shall experience a divine turnaround economically, socially and politically.”
The cleric enjoined Nigerians to join his church in celebrating this year’s Bethel conference at the Assemblies of God Youth Camp at KM 48, Lagos–Ibadan Expressway from Wednesday, 31 August to September.
