Nigeria’s Sunshine Football Club of Akure will play host to MAS Fez of Morocco in the CAF Confederation Cup at the Gateway International Stadium, Ijebu -Ode, Ogun State tomorrow.

With six points from three games, the Gbenga Ogunbote boys welcome Group B leaders MAS. In the build up to the encounter, Sunshine Stars eased past JUTH FC in the Nigeria Premier League encounter last weekend, thanks to a brace from Ibrahim Ajani.

The debutants appear poised to overturn the lone goal suffered in the hands of their guests a fortnight ago in Morocco to topple them at the summit of the standings.

Coach Ogunbote said his team, who have been enjoying good run in Ijebu Ode, will be out to repeat the same winning way when the match gets underway tomorrow afternoon.

“We are ready for the encounter. Though we lost to the Moroccan team in our last match, we are sure of getting the three points at stake in the match this time around,” he said.

Kaduna United are also hosting Ivorian giants ASEC Mimosas at the Kaduna Township Stadium whilst Angola’s IntercLube and Club Africain of Tunisia lock horns in Luanda.

At the 80,000-capacity Stade des Martyrs in Kinshasa, DC Motema Pembe appear in a good stead to complete a double over former two-time continental champions, JS Kabylie. The Canaries are experiencing one of their worst spells in the African club championship after losing all three matches at the mini-league stage.
