A contemporary and professional colleague of the late Dr. Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, Idowu General, has commiserated with the family of the fuji music icon and his friend, Alhaji Kollington Ayinla.
He regretted that he was not in the country when Barrister died last year, hence, he could not attend his funeral.
He said Mr. Fuji’s death has created a huge vacuum that would be very difficult to fill for a very long time.
Idowu, a Lagos Mainland-based musician, stated further that he, Kollington Ayinla and others will expedite action to put a lasting solution to the rancour in the fuji music circle, while admonishing his colleagues, especially the younger ones, to eschew bickering and allow professionalism to thrive.
Meanwhile, arrangement is in top gear for his return to stage performance as his band has embarked on rigorous rehearsals towards the comeback and eventual album production.
