Madagascar Must Fall—Siasia

Chief Coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Samson Siasia, has insisted that his team must beat the Berea of Madagascar when both nations clash on Sunday in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in Antananarivo.

Nigeria are second with seven points, while Group B leaders, Guinea, have 10 points. The Nigerian team, who arrived Antananarivo yesterday morning, are ready to clinch the three points at stake to brighten their chances of qualifying for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations.

Siasia said his team will come out victorious despite the challenges they faced before their departure.

“The match is a must win for us. We had a good preparation and the players are in high spirit to give their opponents a good fight. We will approach the game with all seriousness and make sure that the Berea don’t surprise us, “he said.
