The chairmanship aspiration of Olusesan Jimmy Awosanya has received a boost with the endorsement of his candidature by the leadership of Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, in the area.
The Imota Local Council Development Area chairmanship aspirant told Political Platform that he will not disappoint those who have put so much confidence and trust in him if he is allowed to serve.
“I just want to add my quota and do my best. My people know that I have been involved in the party matters since inception and that is the reason for their massive support. I will not disappoint,†he said.
Awosanya promised the people that he will need their support if he is to serve them effectively, adding that he hopes to emulate the good job that ex-governor Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Governor Babatunde Fashola have done to make Lagos an attractive.
“We need to develop Imota together and we hope to make our LCDA more relevant on the larger scale. We are agrarians and we could be a major supplier of food if we harness our resources,†he stated.
Awosanya expressed the belief that his experience will help his administration to succeed in the provision of medical care and education, information technology and infrastructure improvement.
