Fashola Appoints Folami Special Adviser

Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, has approved the appointment of Muslim Oloruntele Folami as Special Adviser on Political and Legislative Powers.

The appointment took effect from 1 September, 2011.

A statement by Mr. Dele Balogun, Assistant Director of Press and Public Relations in the Office of Head of Service, stated that Folami resumed in his office on 1 September in accordance with the effective date of his appointment.

The statement also quoted the Head of Service, Mr. Adesegun Ogunlewe, as congratulating the new Special Adviser on his appointment and urging him to be dedicated and selfless in the discharge of his duties.

At a short meeting with all members of staff of the Political and Legislative Powers Bureau to herald Mr. Folami’s resumption, Mr. Ogunlewe advised them to give the new adviser all the necessary support and loyalty needed to make his job easy and worthwhile.

Folami, who holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Lagos State University and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Administration, was a member of the State House of Assembly representing Ibeju-Lekki Constituency in the last dispensation.
