'Why I Want To Be Ojodu Chairman'

Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, chairmanship aspirant for Ojodu Local Council Development Area, Azeez Aladeyelu, has said that his grassroots experience puts him ahead of others to lead the LCDA.

Aladeyelu who said this during a chat with P.M.NEWS added that with his over 30 years experience in the council area, he knows were the shoes pinches his people.

“There is a lot that needs to be done and I cannot achieve the aim of developing this locality without been in position of authority. I have always excelled in my endeavours and I know I’m going to excel in this too.

“In 1997, I founded an NGO in this community and today, the NGO is a blessing to this LCDA. Through this NGO as a councillor, I was able to provide two boreholes for the benefit of my people with the assistance of the American Embassy.

“Aside that, I have done several other projects in this council area. I have also been able to empower the youths and the women through capacity building. Politically, I have root in the LCDA. I’m well known to the political leaders,” he said.

He said the people should expect the dividends of democracy which include good roads, good health facilities and rehabilitation of dilapidated school structures among others.
