Cart Pusher Escapes Lynching

A cart pusher, Mallam Ali Habeeblahi Ibrahim, 25, from Katsina State escaped being lynched by an angry mob in the early hours of Sunday.

The cart pusher who lives in Katangoa area of Lagos, Sunday along Ifelodun Street, allegedly convinced an eight-year-old boy, to pick some properties from a house with the promise that he would give him some money.

Ibrahim then asked the boy to enter into 1, Ifelodun Street, Abule Egba and bring out all the iron scraps in the compound in exchange for money.

The little boy said he was going to church when the cart pusher approached him to enter into the compound and bring the iron scraps.

The boy narrated that he gave some iron scraps to the cart pusher who then gave him N10.

According to the little boy, it was when he was bringing the second consignment that they were caught by the residents of the building.

The cart pusher was rescued by some neighbours who pleaded that he should be allowed to go after he was beaten.
