Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chairmanship aspirant for Eti-Osa West Local Council Development Area, LCDA, Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria, Prince Ibrahim Odofin says his desire is to transform the council and deliver dividends of democracy to the long neglected residents.

Comrade Andrew Oretan who is vying for the vice chairmanship position alongside the chairman stated that pressure from stakeholders within the council motivated them to declare their intention to serve.

“We want to serve our people for good not to embezzle our commonwealth and tax payers money,” Odofin said.

Speaking with newsmen recently, Odofin and Oretan stated that the LCDA has witnessed several years of neglect and depreciation in the hands of the so-called progressives, and as a result, the people are now pushing for a change.

“The people are tired of imposition of leaders on them and their non-performance, and are now ready to take the bull by the horns and elect leaders of their choice that would liberate them from slavery and oppression.

“We are appealing to the people of Eti-Osa not to collect N500 from any politician in the coming election by voting massively for us to change Eti Osa for good,” Odofin stated.
