Soccer hostilities began yesterday in the knock out stage of this yearâ€
Teams that qualified from the regional elimination series in the competition had earlier arrived Lagos on Tuesday for the much-hyped football competition with arousing welcome by the representatives of the Nigerian Breweries Plc and members of the organising committee of the games.
The 14 teams, two from each of the seven regions that beat thousands of others to qualify during the months of July and August, have been grouped in pair to play each other in a knockout series.
The winners from the knockout stages will automatically moved to the next round in a competition that will end on Saturday.
