Anibogu, Chidi Families Evicted From MDA Academy

As the heightened tension and excitement of Maltina Dance All Season five gets underway, there appears to be no let down and surprises as the popular family show witnessed its first eviction with the Anibogu and Chidi families being told it is time to go home after spending a week at the Academy.

At the eviction show, the first this season anchored by Kemi Adetiba, the Chidi, Edoho, Anibogu, Utogo and Efe families, were placed on the eviction list.

They were thus mandated by the judges, Michael Adegoke, Janelle Burgess and Muyiwa Oshinaike to sharpen their dancing skills if they want to remain at the MDA Academy.

After the Wazobia performance show, the Chidi, Edoho and Efe families were put up for possible eviction from the academy.

Also, after what the judges considered an unsatisfactory performance at the Salsa performance show, the Anibogu and Utogo families were subsequently pencilled down for possible eviction too.

As a result of these developments, the five families were mandated to make a double performance of Salsa and Wazobia dance at the eviction show.

With their fate in the MDA academy hanging in the balance, the five families did all they could to impress the judges and remain in the academy.

The MDA is a unique TV reality show where families strive to outdo each other by showcasing different types of dance steps and styles to compete for the star prize.

The lucky families competed for a place in the academy which commenced on 4 September and end with a superlative performance on 24 September, 2011.

As the show progresses, the stiff competition for the N5million and a new family SUV intesifies, while the first and second runners up will take home N1 million and N500, 000 respectively.
