Nigeriaâ€s Oludamola Osayomi has dedicated the 200m gold medal she won yesterday at the ongoing All Africa Games in Maputo, Mozambique to her fans back home and in the Diaspora.

Speaking on BBC Africa Service early today, Osayomi expressed joy for winning her third gold medal at the tourney.

“I feel so great winning my third gold medal in Maputo. I canâ€t really say how delighted I am after what happened at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India, last year. I dedicate my success at the African championship to all my fans that stood by me,” she said.

Osayomi added the womenâ€s 200m gold to her medal haul at the Games after breasting the tape ahead of closest challenger, Namibiaâ€s Globine Mayova. She won the race in 22:86 seconds.
