Suspected Suicide Bomber Arrested

A 30-year old man suspected to be a suicide bomber has been arrested in a church in Jos, the Plateau state capital.

He was arrested today at the CIC Zamagada, Jos by security guards at the church and handed over to the police.

The suspect’s car is being detained by anti-bomb unit of the police.

The suspect, according to Rev. Father Cletus Goteng in charge of CIC church, lied to security guard that he came to pick his wife but later siad he came to pick his friend.

Because he was acting in a suspicious manner, he was interrogated and the police were called in to arrest him.
