Aspirant Promises Change In Ikorodu


An aspirant for the chairmanship position of the Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, under the umbrella of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Otunba James Bayo Lawal-Lawson, a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, has promised to chaange the lives of the people of the council area.

Speaking with P.M.NEWS on his resolution for change, Lawson stated that he was born and schooled in Ikorodu and it was a real sweet experience and great achievement to have come out of such a great place, but a lot of things has changed.

Most of the culture in the town have either been destroyed or abandoned and he is set on a mission to return the city to its lost glory, by ensuring proper distribution of social benefits to all citizens, especially in Ikorodu West Local Government.

Otunba Lawson stated that what Ikorodu West LCDA, truly needs is a man who lives in and understand the area and its concept, a man who is passionate about the city and a man with great ideals, experience and intelligent, and who is focused and can restore hope to the council and the city.
