Coaches Elections: Ekhator Returns As Ajeromi/Ifelodun Leader

Coach Anthony Ekhator has returned as leader of Ajeromi\Ifelodun Football Coaches Council.

In the elections held last weekend at the Navy Ground, Ajegunle, Ekahator won unopposed as Adebayo Michael returned as vice leader.

Other coaches that won unopposed are Manual Joash as secretary and Michael Furoko who returned as assistant secretary.

Ugo Chinedu Alex defeated Jacob Kenny to emerge as financial secretary while Orji Darlington floored Obi Steven to emerge as treasurer.

In other elections, Eretan Eniola emerged as social welfare, David Wilson emerged as social welfare while Basil Emmanuel returned as publicity secretary.

In his acceptance speech, Ekhator expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the elections and told GSG that he will use his good office to attract corporate bodies to sponsor football competition in the council.

He said his return as the leader of the council will motivate him to work harder, charging the other elected coaches to work for the progress of the association.

“I want to express my profound gratitude to all coaches who gave me another opportunity to serve them again. And I appeal to those that the losers to let’s us work together for the progress of the council,” he said.

Chairman of Nigeria Football Coaches Council, Lagos Chapter, Isaac Adeagbo, expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the elections and charged the new exco to work hard in order to achieve their objectives before the end of this year.

Secretray of the body, Idowu Ifeoluwa, advised the new elected coaches to give their best saying any coach that fails to live up to expectations will face disciplinary action.
