The Lagos State Council of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) has refuted a report credited to Mr. Akeem Aregbe who claimed to be the branch secretary of Isolo Ejigbo branch of the union.
The state secretary of the union, Comrade Akin James in a refutal explained that the said Aregbe was not competent to speak on behalf of the state council. Mr. James also disclosed that the state council led by Alhaji Rafiu Akanni Olohunwa has not been dissolved.
Comrade James warned members of the union to desist from granting interviews or issue statements without clearance from the state council. He urged the general public and the state government to disregard any statement that does not originate from the state council.
