An Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, chairmanship aspirant for Ikorodu North Local Council Development Area, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria, Matthew Aliu Adesanya, has pledged to execute people-oriented programmes if voted into office.

He promised to always interact with the people and sample their opinion to know their immediate needs before embarking on any project in the LCDA.

He criticised past administrations in the LCDA for providing boreholes for the people when they did not ask for such, adding that it is most unreasonable for a local administration to sink boreholes when individual landlords can provide such in their various houses.

Adesanya also promised to improve the road network, which he said, will in return improve the economic activities in the LCDA.

He said that during his tenure as former secretary to Ikorodu North LCDA, he was able to broker peace among the traditional rulers in the area, adding that if he becomes the council boss, their salaries will be paid promptly.

He added that the office afforded him an opportunity to know how to maintain a cordial relationship between the executive and the legislative arm of the LCDA.
